What A DoucheBag.

I've heard of using kids as props, but this baby ain't even a year old.

I wish "Maddie" had spat up on this moron. The shame.

And you wonder why the GOP stays losing.

Question: Any comments on yesterday's historic healthcare vote?!?

Personally I’m not in favor of the Healthcare bill because I believe in limiting Government and that basically with record deficits how are you going to pay for it. I’m not going to get into a long winded speech about socialism but like I said my main issue is how are we going to pay for this? Higher taxes for the middle class would be my guess.

With that aside this congressman is despicable for using his granddaughter as a stage prop. It’s nonsense and antics like this that make me never consider identifying myself as a Republican or a conservative even though I might vote for a individual candidate everyone in a while. The GOP if they want to grow more than a white southern party they better started putting a lid on the nuts (Becks, Bachmanns, and Palins) in their party.

Watch out for this amendment on the Senate bill. Kerry and Hatch are co-sponsoring an amendment that will cover Christian Science treatments. Whatever you might believe, this opens a lot of very dangerous doors. Will psychic surgeries be covered? How about exorcisms? Maybe an animal sacrifice to cure your headache? Worst of all, Scientology will use this to get more cash from the government. HRC already tossed them money after 9/11 to "counsel" firefighters and police men.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Sorry. I'm a total sucker for two-foot tall, bulb-headed goblins.
:]
I mean sure, they drool a lot and their conjugation is a little rusty, but who can resist those big ol' eyes?

That aside, this is just silly and embarassing.

@ Wave:

While some are wondering how we're going to pay for this, I'M wondering how I'm going to pay for ANYTHING. I haven't been to a doctor in years, simply because I can't set aside even thirty spare dollars a month. What are people like me supposed to do? I was turned down for Medicaid this summer because they said I made $52 over the limit. Fifty-two dollars, for cripe's sake! When I objected to this at the Medicaid office, the lady just resignedly said, "Honey, I've seen people get turned down for being ONE dollar over the limit."

Great.

I'm not saying concerns over paying for this are illegitimate. But when people in my situation are in the no man's land between dirt poor and too "rich" for aid...

If other countries make it work (with more of their citizens expressing satisfaction with the system than not), so can we. Not even trying is ridiculous.

It looks to me that Maddie knew he was talking out of the side of his neck and felt that other human beings should't have to listen to the foolishness this man was tried to present as an argument. So she pushes the mic away from him.

If only more rational people took that stance when dealing with stupidity, intead of trying to be bipartisan on important issues like health care.
