Every Sunday (or so), I run a feature here called What's On AB's iPod?, which features a boatload of good music that ya'll can download for Free 99. I'm usually recommending promotional mixtapes, and/or stuff put out for free by new artists. Since I don't illegally download, coming up with entries for this feature is sometimes difficult.
So, I am turning the tables today and asking ya'll a probing question.
Question: What's on YOUR iPod that could be attained by others in AverageNation™ LEGALLY and FREE? Recommendations of any genre are encouraged. Even better, provide the URL where the rest of us can cop it too. Again: please do NOT list anything that has to be bought or illegally downloaded!!!

I don't download a lot of free music but I do download for free lots of informative stuff in podcasts. Lots of documentaries from the BBC and NPR at ITunes podcasts. At ITunesU you can download all sorts of stuff universities worldwide put up there, including full courses, but also introductions for the general public.
Hey AverageNation,
Check out DJ K.E.L.W.I.N he has a podcast on ITunes. He has about 14 episodes of great music. You will not be disappointed. Type his name in the ITunes search bar and you will find him.
On the Internets, check out dallaspenn.com he has just started a podcast; I think he has two. Also check out soulbounce.com, soundnexx.com(Just google soundnexx and you will find his page) both sites have links to great artist and great music. For the hiphop heads check out nahright.com. Take care.

since there is no space to comment on the spectator sport poll...just wanted to say that mls doesn't quite do real true soccer justice and there's nothing quite like world cup soccer...another sport missing...track and field...pure athleticism at its finest....but i get that these aren't american loved sports...
I've been listening to a lot of Maxwell's new album, but just before it came out, honeysoul.com had a link to a Maxwell mix by Supa Qool DJ Uncle Q.

Thanks Mindpinball...I'm trying to download it now, I wore his new CD out already
Okay.
I actually bought my iPod Touch because AB went off on me in an email this winter because I didn't have one already.
That being said, I'm totally illiterate when it comes to how this stuff works. Compounded with the fact that I'm on a MacBook so some stuff is slightly different.
My question is, with these links and stuff, how do I get them from the computer to the iPod or do they automatically dL into iTunes and I just pull 'em from there.
I dunno if you have covered some of these in the past but here goes.

Really late, but I love Trey Songz's mixtape, Anticipation. He put it out via internet for F-R-E-E. I've been listening to it every day for a week or so now.
