Curious George was curious, but he's not curious any more: he's now quite certain that he's in the hands of a fool.
Those folks in the first video probably aren't even registered to vote. The guy in the second video is just an ignorant racist, who thought he was being clever. They all just look stupid.

At least their arguments are intelligent and analytical. If they only repeated what they heard from right wing radio or episodes of "24," they'd sound pretty stupid!
Did anyone catch how the one person said the friend should have to pay double for her own rape kit and someone else said she should die? Do they even know who that person was? That's messed up. Never mind what they're saying about Obama, but when the off camera guy talked about the person paying for the rape kit, the things people shout out are just horrible.
Spool you can shout selective outrage to me all you want on this but I don't see any footage of people at Obama rallies shouting "She should die!". Not even talking about McCain or Obama. I know they weren't saying Palin should die. And even if they did it STILL wouldn't be right.
The other videos and commenters just made me laugh.

I think the right-wing leadership in this country, Bush, McCain, Palin, and the Republicans in congress are fanning these flames not because they think they will help John McCain win, but so that some of their knuckle-dragging followers will try to kill Barak Obama.
This is getting scary.
This is the kind of climate that leads to riots. I've said it before that there WILL be race riots if/when Barack is elected.
This is history repeating itself.

Let me just say, we're not ALL like what's featured in these videos (white folks). It's hard for me to believe people this ignorant even still exist. I LIKE to fool myself into thinking that we've ALL evolved and grown in the past 40-50 years, but apparently there still are pockets of incredibly stupid people out there. I love the redneck check spitting out bumper sticker slogans "the only difference is the B.S." Good lord... is this country REALLY this stupid?
No race riots. We're past that.
The people above may or may not share racist tendencies, but they all do have one thing in common: they are stupid. Aggressively, mind-numbingly and eternally stupid.
So, history won't repeat, but it will rhyme. There will likely be riots, but it will be the stupid against everyone else (reason riots?). And the stupid will lose, because, afterall, they're stupid(if the smart would organize, we could probably get them to fight each other :-)).
And Darwin will laugh while Jesus weeps, as these misguided faux christians destroy themselves.
My impression of the people in the first video is they are drunken hillbillys interviewed leaving the bar. The 2nd vid, shows the terrible influence of FOX network, which uses television to arouse the worst in people. One thing seems to be a common thread in these clips -- the amount of aggression and anger in the people. There is obviously a resentment of "the elite" as represented by the media interviewing them.
I think of most of these people as badly misled instead of hopelessly stupid. Thanks for Saturday night at the horror show.

Stupid White people - hell, just Stupid people of any color, religion or nationality. Why do we worship ignorance in this country .....
What a pathetic group of people. Folks, these people might vote for the same candidate, but they're not in my party.

Methinks ye should ease up on spool, in this context. He ain't cut from the same cloth that's flapping furiously in the wind at those rallies.
Having said that:
Spool, I can sympathize with the unfairness of being lumped in with hateful nut jobs, but the distressing reality is that this type of rightie is MUCH more visible than your type.

It's a frustrating situation that I wish I had a better solution to... all I can do is blame the Legacy Media. On the left and the right, the wacko fringe seems better able to make noise than reasonable people ever can.

I also said it still wouldn't be right. No matter who's saying what about who. This is just sad and shows the true colors of a lot of the "patriotic" Americans. Like I said in a different post I don't go searching for things like this as I really don't like politics at all.
