Question: I didn't realize The KKK endorsed Obama, I must have missed that memo. Turns out the ringleader of this nonsense, Michael Warns, is urging blacks to vote for McCain since he's pro-life. Does this mean McCain has to throw Warns under the bus too?

As a black person you'd have to be highly stupid, completely unintelligent and clueless about history to have the gull and tact to hold up a KKK sign to another black man.
I don't give a damn if his Mama was from the Amazon rainforest, he is HALF black. He is married to a black woman. That's more than enough in my book, for that situation to be insulting to me and every other "colored folk" in this country.
I bet they thought they were being cute. That they wanted to get shown on the evening news. Well Congratulations! You've gotten your wish.
Now sit down and explain to your kids while you mocked a black man, by holding up a sign signifying a group that hung other young black man from trees, shot them or burned them alove. For sport.

The problem is that there is literally nothing between their ears that isn't related to the Desert Hick's Guide to Life** (aka the Bible). No matter what you say, or how you say it, their answer will be some Biblical verse. They're like robots. Religious claptrap has pushed everything else out of their brains, which had to have been pretty weak to begin with to let themselves be invaded so easily.
Between these clowns and white evangelical authoritarians (aka The 30% Club), it's enough to make me want bring back the Golden Calf.

But people who have crammed the Bible into their heads and pushed their brains out through their ears in the process are, IMO, the most dangerous kind of human second only to homicidal sociopaths. (Not that there isn't occasionally some overlap.)
On another note: What the hell is the deal with the rampant misogyny? I checked their website. From what I see it's hideously anti-female, and those Israelites are too (as any of you who've seen them will know.) What IS it about women that terrifies this type so extremely? It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

The few Hebrew Israelites I've seen on youtube all have the same problem. They were obviously scorned by some female and figured they would use the Bible to gain revenge and vent their anger.
That's truly not an example of 'Christianity'. They are acting in the opposite fashion that is suggested in the texts.
There are some Christians and ministers who use logic and reason to explain their faith.
I used to think that all Muslims were ready to blow me apart, until I met one from Turkey who owned a cafe near where I worked. He studied law and played for the Turkish national soccer team. We had one of the most down to earth conversations I've ever had. He positively changed my view on human beings in general, regardless of faith.
May I suggest a pastor named Ravi Zacharias? Take some time to listen to one of his messages.

These guys, and nutjob Pastor David Manning, all support McCain. Should the McCain campaign be forced to denounce such tactics?
I wonder who is secretly funding these fringe groups behind the scenes? Manning has been on Fox News, I am sure Warns is getting contacted by them already.
I'm not sure how much either candidate should be forced to denounce this sort of thing. Nobody is calling on Obama to denounce salon.com, or the Palin email hacker from anonymous.
Less guilt-by-association from all quarters would be good, I think.

This is indeed a fine example of AN UNCLE RUCKUS MOMENT! I agree with those of you who've questioned the funding of this group within your commentaries. Of course not all black folk are going to agree with, support or even like Obama, and that's fine. I would just prefer to go out on a limb and assume that most of us would choose to respect the man and use some home training. I couldn't pull up the protestor footage (it's been removed from youtube) but I can only imagine the redirect comin outta their moufs!
In the past the two main parties were opposite than they are now. Republicans were Democrats and Democrats in their fundamental beliefs.
Either way the first KKK originated in the 19th century and you think that is important and why you join a group of anti-black racists?
I think the people in this group must hate who they are. Would this group have opposed the civil rights movement in 1964 pushed by Democrats and fought against by the Republicans? You would have to side with the Democrats to not have to sit at the back of the bus. But you scorn the people who helped you and love the Republicans who don't.
